BREAKTHROUGH: Drill of the Sky

A vertical-scrolling line defense game set in a steampunk world. You move a colossal Drill Rocket along the bottom of the screen, shattering the Meteor Bombs that fall on your town and pushing upward against everything sent to stop you.

Inspired by the classic arcade game Breakout — both its logic and its impact, the paddle rebuilt as a drill rocket that bounces what falls back at whatever sent it — and by Dark Souls: learning a pattern by failing it until you finally break through, and a story you assemble from scattered fragments rather than one told outright.
